Rachel M. Simon
Rachel M. Simon is poet, teacher, mushroom hunter living in Yonkers, NY. Her book of poetry,
Theory of Orange, won the 2005-2006 Transcontinental Prize from Pavement Saw Press. She teaches in the Gender Studies Department at SUNY Purchase College, writing at Bedford Hills Prison, and poetry to students age 10 to 92 at various community centers. Four of her poems can be found on the blog
