Sarah Gambito
Sarah Gambito is the author of Matadora (Alice James Books, 2004), and the forthcoming Delivered (Persea Books, 2009). She holds degrees from The University of Virginia (B.A.) and Brown University (M.F.A.). Her poems have appeared in The Iowa Review, The Antioch Review, The New Republic, Quarterly West, Fence and other journals. In 2008, she received, with Russell Banks and Robert Caro, the Barnes & Noble Writers for Writers Award, and she became the director of creative writing at Fordham University.
