Matt O'Donnell
Maine native Matt O'Donnell, Fishouse Editor & Executive Director, graduated from Holy Cross College and earned an MFA in poetry from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He is Associate Editor of Bowdoin magazine at Bowdoin College, and an assistant editor of Poets on Poets, a Romantic Circles project edited by Tilar Mazzeo at Colby College. A long time professional ski instructor, he also directs a telemark ski program for the Bowdoin College Outing Club. He has lived and taught in Thredbo, Australia, and Aspen, Colorado; worked on the grounds crew at Fenway Park; and was for a brief time a professional golf caddie in South Africa. O'Donnell founded From the Fishouse with Camille T. Dungy in August 2004 and officially launched it in April 2005.
