Kazim Ali
Kazim Ali's first book of poetry The Far Mosque was published by Alice James Books in October 2005, and his second, The Fortieth Day, was published by BOA Editions in spring 2008. He is also the author of two novels Quinn's Passage and The Disappearance of Seth (2009), as well as the forthcoming Bright Felon: Autobiography and Cities. A graduate of the Creative Writing Program at New York University, he is the publisher of Nightboat Books, a creative writing faculty member at Oberlin College, and a member of the creative writing faculty of the Stonecoast low-residency MFA program at the University of Southern Maine.Posted on July 14, 2005 6:48 AM
